Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 August 2026. This describes what the app actually does today. If that changes, this page changes with it.
TRIPLEE is a travel planning app. This policy says what we collect, what we do with it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do.
TRIPLEE is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY — to be completed], [REGISTERED ADDRESS — to be completed]. Contact: support@triplee.app.
What we collect
Your account
Your email address, and how you signed in — with a password, or through Apple or Google. If you use Apple or Google, they confirm to us that the sign-in is genuine; we do not receive your password.
What you choose to put in your profile
A display name, a picture, and a home airport. Those three, and nothing else. We do not ask for your date of birth, your phone number or your address, and there is nowhere in our database to store them.
Your trips
The places, days, times, notes, links, expenses and flights you add — and any documents you attach, such as a boarding pass. Documents are private to your trip and are never public.
What you say to the travel agent
When you describe a trip in your own words, we keep the conversation: what you wrote, what the agent replied, and what it looked up while answering.
A small number of product events
Five, in total: that a session started, that someone signed up, that a trip was created, that an item was added, and that the agent ran. They carry counts and yes/no answers — how many nights, how many places, whether it worked — and never the words you wrote, the name of a trip, or the name of a place.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your location. The app never asks your device where you are, and there is nowhere in our database that a person's position could be stored. Coordinates we hold are coordinates of places — a hotel, a museum, a city you have put on a trip.
We do not use advertising, ad networks, or tracking of any kind, and we do not sell or rent anything about you to anybody.
We do not use cookies. TRIPLEE is an app, not a browser session, and this website is a handful of static pages that set none.
We do not currently collect crash reports.
Who else sees your information
- Anthropic — when you talk to the travel agent, what you wrote and the trip it is working on are sent to Anthropic's model service, which is what produces the reply.
- Google — when you search for a place, the text you searched is sent to Google Places so it can be found. Where we send a nearby point to make the results better, that point is your trip's destination, not you.
- Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia and Wikidata — we ask them for photographs and facts about places. They receive a place name and nothing about you.
- TikTok and YouTube — only if you paste a link from them, and only that link.
- Apple and Google — if you choose to sign in that way.
- Supabase — our hosting provider, which runs the database, sign-in, file storage and server code on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Until it is deleted. We do not currently expire anything automatically. You can delete a trip, an item, a document or a note at any time, and it is gone from our database when you do.
Deleting your account
Email support@triplee.app and we will delete your account by hand. Self-serve deletion is not built yet, and the app says so where you would look for it.
What deletion removes: your account and sign-in, your profile, every trip that is only yours together with its days, items, notes, links, expenses, flights and documents, your cover images, and your membership of other people's trips.
Trips you share with other people are not destroyed — you are removed from them and ownership passes to someone else who is on the trip, so their trip does not disappear because you left.
What deletion does not currently remove, stated plainly because we would rather say it than have you assume otherwise:
- Your conversations with the travel agent, including what you typed, unless they were attached to a trip that was deleted. Most are not.
- The five product events described above, which are keyed to your account identifier.
- Internal records of agent runs — timings, token counts and costs.
- Descriptions of places — a hotel, a restaurant, a museum — that your trips caused us to look up. These are about the place, not about you, and they are shared by everyone using TRIPLEE, so we keep them.
If you want the first three removed as well, say so in the same email and we will do it. We are working on making deletion cover them automatically.
What you can ask us for
Write to support@triplee.app and you can ask us to: tell you what we hold about you; send you a copy; correct something wrong; delete your account; or delete a specific thing without closing your account. There is no self-serve export yet, so we do it by hand.
Children
TRIPLEE is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we change this page and the date at the top. We do not describe anything here that the app does not do.
